Job Profile
Key Responsibilities
1. Security Administrator is responsible for Managing uptime and day to day Operations of Security Infrastructure of DC Security, Checkpoint / Cisco firewall and Virtual Private Network (VPN) security, Proxy etc.
2.Candidate is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert and possess in-depth knowledge of Network Security, Security devices, Check Point Firewalls, Checkpoint Site-to-Site VPN, Checkpoint Mobile Access/Remote Access, Cisco Firepower Firewall, Deception, Antivirus, Proxy etc. and Security monitoring tools, processes.
3.Person should Ensure that all Security components meet their operational targets (SLA).
Job Description
1. Knowledge and experience in Network Security, Security devices, Check Point Firewalls, Checkpoint Site-to-Site VPN, Checkpoint Mobile Access/Remote Access, Cisco Firepower Firewall, Deception, Antivirus, Proxy technologies etc.
2. Possesses in-depth knowledge on Computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies. Risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk). Cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
Information technology (IT) security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption). Local area and wide area networking principles and concepts including bandwidth management. Network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth).
3. Responsible for Providing L3 troubleshooting support, ensure fulfilment of security policies and security requirements, provide quick resolution as a crisis manager.
4.Responsible for deployment of network security infrastructure, Plan, and schedule Changes along with Coordinating with different stakeholders.
5.Expert level technical experience on Security gateway firewalls, IPSEC and SSL VPN, DC firewalls, Secure Proxy ,2FA Servers, Deception technologies is must.
6.Project management & vendor management experience of handling large scale project deployment of Network Security infrastructure.
7.Experience of evaluating new technology in area of network security infrastructure.
8.Administration and management (technical operations) in support of OEMs like Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet etc.
9.Understanding customer-s network and solving Security related issues in minimum time.
10.Working on tickets raised by customers related to Security requests, issues. Responsible for resolution of L2 and L3 level complex issues.
11.Implements changes to Security infrastructure to correct errors or enhance functionality.
12.Monitor measures or indicators of system performance and availability.
13.Develops processes for improving operational efficiencies, as well as identifies/implements automation tools for existing manual processes.
14.Prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of Security design and operational requirements.
15. Candidate should have experience facing internal and external audits and should have knowledge on IT standards like ITIL, ISO 27000 & CMM etc.
16. Good verbal and written communications skills are must.
Qualification Details
Essential Qualification: Candidate should have Bachelor of Engineering degree (preferred from Mumbai university or equivalent) with 8 to 10 years relevant core security experience.Candidate should have checkpoint, Cisco, or Fortinet like OEMs professional level technical Security certifications.
Preferred Qualification: Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE) / Cisco Certified Specialist - Network Security FirepowerFortiGate NSE4 Certification / Juniper Security/ ITIL v3 Foundation.
Experience Details
